ctwome takes your data seriously. This page is the one-stop place to manage your data with us — whether you’re currently logged in or not.

Delete your account

Most users delete in-app: Settings → Danger Zone → DELETE ACCOUNT.

If you can’t log in (lost device, forgotten password, etc.), email ctwome@icloud.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address on file. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

What happens on deletion:
• Profile, photos, codes, playlists, chat messages and rewards are removed from public view immediately.
• Data is fully erased within 6 months (a short legal hold covers abuse reports and tax law).
• Anonymous, aggregate statistics may be retained — they cannot be linked back to you.

What we store

• Account: email, age (16+ only), display name, profile picture.
• Activity: chat messages, codes you’ve posted, drops you created or claimed, friends/followers/likes.
• Location: only while the Radar feature is on, only to match you to nearby people and treasures.
• Device: anonymised analytics — no cross-app tracking, no advertising ID, no Facebook pixel.

Your data rights (GDPR & similar)

Under the GDPR (and equivalent laws in the UK, California, Brazil, …) you have the right to:

• ACCESS your data — request a copy.
• CORRECT inaccurate data — in-app via Edit Profile, or email us.
• DELETE your data — see "Delete your account" above.
• PORTABILITY — a machine-readable export of your data.
• OBJECT to certain processing.
• WITHDRAW consent for any optional processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email ctwome@icloud.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days at the latest, free of charge.

Data we do NOT collect

• Cross-app tracking identifiers (no IDFA, no advertising ID).
• Your contacts or phone book.
• Microphone, calls, SMS.
• Apple Health, Apple Music, or any other Apple service data.
